ContactEngine announces its shortlisting as Little British Battler by technology analyst TechMarketView LLP. Little British Battlers aims to recognise and reward innovative, UK-based SMEs that are achieving beyond industry expectations. It selects 12 UK-based SMEs from hundreds of entries that are transforming the IT marketplace through innovation, to compete with bigger, more established companies.
ContactEngine is a sophisticated and efficient omni-channel communications partner for an increasing number of major national and international brands. The key to its success is that it does not force the conversation between a brand and it’s customer down a particular communication route, instead it allows the consumer to choose SMS; an automated phone-call; an email, or other messaging types to drive the conversation. This culminates in ContactEngine achieving uniquely high contact rates – typically over 90%. This year has seen new brands partner with ContactEngine, revolutionising their customer comms: including BSkyB, ASDA and Indesit/Whirpool.
Commenting on the nomination, ContactEngine CEO Dr Mark Smith said: “At my size it's not often that I have been associated with the word 'little', nevertheless, it is particularly pleasing to be selected as one of the most innovative SMEs in the UK. ContactEngine look forward to getting some of TechMarketView's laser-like insights into our growth strategy.”
The SMEs chosen to participate in the Little British Battlers day will present to the TechMarketView analyst team, discuss their strategy and receive constructive feedback, in addition to receiving coverage in TechMarketView research publications.
